PNG recompression keeps every pixel, and lossless WebP results are decoded and compared with the original before you see them. Lossy options (JPEG, lossy WebP, MP3, AAC, Opus) are labelled as lossy.
Savings depend on the file.
Screenshots, graphics, WAV audio and uncompressed 3D models shrink the most. Photos and MP3s are already compressed, so they shrink less. Each row shows the size before and after.
